Set at the foot of the South Downs, we are conveniently located for guests travelling from Brighton & Hove, Worthing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Steyning, Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Horsham and surrounding Sussex villages.
Our private dining and event spaces accommodate gatherings from 8 to 100 guests. For smaller occasions, the TERRA Tasting Room offers an intimate setting, while groups of 10-14 can enjoy private dining in the cosy Inglenook Room. For larger celebrations, the South Downs Suite accommodates up to 100 guests with private dining, fine dining or buffet menus, its own private bar and the option of a DJ.
Food is prepared by the chefs from our TERRA Restaurant, with menus tailored to the style of your event. With free on-site parking and 12 boutique hotel bedrooms, friends and family can celebrate without rushing away, stay overnight and catch up again over breakfast the following morning.

Bespoke Private Dining Menus & Tasting Experiences
Our private dining and fine dining menus offer two or three courses using the same quality ingredients as our TERRA Restaurant.
Five-course and seven-course tasting menus, designed specifically for your event, are also available for groups of up to 14 in the TERRA Tasting Room or Inglenook private dining room.
Our South Downs Buffet can be added to longer events or provided as the main menu for larger groups. You can also enjoy our Afternoon Tea, served to the table or as a buffet.
Our Drinks
Our front of house team can serve our range of Sussex and international wines, spirits and beers in the TERRA Tasting Room and Inglenook private dining room. The South Downs Suite has its own private bar for larger celebrations. For bigger parties, we recommend pre-ordering table wines and other drinks with our events team during the planning process so everything is ready for your guests.
