Experience a Seasonal Sussex Tasting Menu in the TERRA Tasting Room
The TERRA Tasting Room is a private space for 6–8 guests beside TERRA Restaurant, created for a slower, more focused dining experience. Choose a 5- or 7-course tasting menu, with optional accompanying wine flights, for a celebration, an evening with friends or simply the pleasure of discovering a seasonal menu.
Each course is prepared fresh to order, with Sussex ingredients and the seasons helping to shape the menu, so we require at least 36 hours notice for bookings. Please share dietary requirements in advance; complex requirements or multiple allergies should be discussed with the team before booking.
5 & 7-Course Seasonal Tasting Menus
Executive Head Chef Ben Rowlands and the TERRA kitchen team shape each 5- or 7-course menu around the season, the best ingredients available and the pleasure of letting one course lead naturally into the next. Sussex produce sits at the heart of the experience, but the aim is never to make the evening feel worthy or formal — it should simply feel generous, interesting and very TERRA.
An optional wine flight can be paired with the menu, or you can choose from the wider TERRA wine list, including a strong selection of Sussex wines.

Our optional wine flights are designed by our sommeliers to accompany each of the courses of the Terra Tasting Menu to ensure you have the best experience. You can also choose your own wines from our selection of Sussex and international wines as well as our full range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
A Taste of Sussex, Served Course by Course
The Tasting Room is where the TERRA kitchen can slow things down a little. Seasonal Sussex ingredients, small details and a sequence of courses come together in a private room made for conversation, celebrations and evenings that deserve a little more time.
That sense of place runs through the wider restaurant too. We work with Sussex growers, farms, fisheries, makers and vineyards, and the restaurant has gradually built independent recognition for both its food and the way it approaches local sourcing. If you enjoy knowing the story behind what is on the plate, there is plenty more to discover before — or after — dinner.
