The South Downs Package is designed for couples who want the main wedding experience organised as one connected sequence. It includes preparation the night before, the ceremony and wedding breakfast, a fuller evening celebration and the morning-after breakfast.
Pricing is based on 60 guests. Weddings held in November, January or February receive a 10% reduction.

Food and Wine Tasting Evening
The tasting evening is part of the planning process: an opportunity to understand the food and wine style, discuss dietary requirements and make decisions with the menu in front of you rather than from descriptions alone.
Getting Ready Suite the Night Before
The package includes a Getting Ready Suite for the night before the wedding. Arriving the previous evening means the person using the suite can unpack, settle in and wake up on site rather than beginning the wedding morning with travel and a room change.
Sparkling Breakfast in the Getting Ready Suite
Breakfast and bubbles are brought to the Getting Ready Suite on the wedding morning, allowing preparations to continue without the group having to leave the room and return later.
Pre-Ceremony Guest Drinks
Guests arriving for the ceremony are offered a drink before they take their seats. It gives the arrival period a clear purpose and helps the wedding party remain separate while final preparations are taking place.
Exclusive use of the South Downs Suite, Private Garden and Bar
These connected wedding spaces are reserved for your wedding. The word exclusive here refers to the wedding suite, garden and bar rather than the entire hotel; other hotel areas may continue to operate separately.
Wedding Ceremony
Your ceremony can be held in the South Downs Suite or in an outdoor licensed setting when appropriate. Keeping the ceremony and reception at the same venue removes the transport gap between the formal and social parts of the day.
Canapés & Sparkling Celebration
Immediately after the ceremony, canapés and sparkling wine are served while guests gather in the garden and photographs begin. This is the bridge between the ceremony and the seated wedding breakfast.
Three-course Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast is a three-course meal prepared by the Tottington Manor kitchen. Service, timings and dietary requirements are planned as part of the wedding schedule rather than treated as a separate restaurant booking.
Tea and Coffee Station until the First Dance
Tea and coffee are available after the meal through the period of speeches and room changeover, up to the first dance.
Half a Bottle of Sussex Wine & Sparkling Toast per Guest
The package includes half a bottle of Sussex wine per guest plus sparkling wine for the toast. The Sussex focus is a deliberate part of the package and can be discussed alongside the wedding menu at the tasting.
DJ & Dancing until Midnight
A DJ is included and the main evening party runs through to midnight. Having the DJ included removes one of the common supplier bookings from the couple's list and allows timings to be coordinated with the venue team.
Full Evening Buffet & Cheese Board
The South Downs Package includes a fuller evening-food offer than the Celebration Package, combining an evening buffet with a cheeseboard for guests later in the night.
Your Choice of Honeymoon Suite
The couple can choose their honeymoon suite from the wedding options available for the date. The suite gives the couple their own room at the end of the celebration, while other guest rooms can be arranged separately.
Farewell Breakfast for Resident Guests
The following morning, resident wedding guests can meet for breakfast in TERRA. It gives overnight guests a natural final gathering before departures.
Could we make more of the night before?
The Getting Ready Suite is already included for the night before. If you want the evening to become a family gathering as well, additional bedrooms and a private-dining meal can be arranged subject to availability. You do not need to buy exclusive use simply to have dinner with close family and friends the night before.
