Arrive the evening before your wedding and get settled into one of Getting Ready Suites, where you can relax, enjoy cocktails on the decking with your friends or indulge in a Celebration Dinner in one of our Private Dining Rooms, comfortable that you are ready for a stress free Wedding Day.
Waking up on the day of your wedding, your Wedding Hairdresser and Make up Artist can help you and your party to get ready, whilst our team provide a light breakfast and some bubbles to your getting ready suite for you all to enjoy.

Your Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Tottington Manor is licensed for Wedding Ceremonies in our South Downs Suite, and also outside with the gorgeous countryside views of the South Downs National Park in the background. Your registrar or celebrant will guide you through your vows whilst your friends and family look on. Whilst our indoor wedding ceremonies are licensed for up to 100 guests and are outside wedding ceremony areas are licensed for up to 180 guests, they also look perfect with 30 to 40 guests.

Celebration Drinks and Canapes

After you have signed your Wedding Certificate its time to enjoy a couple of glasses of Ridgeview Sussex Sparkling Wine with family and friends under the Stretch Tent and in the South Downs Suites Garden, whilst our weddings team serve you and your guests a selection of Canapes, created by our AA Rosette Chefs from locally sourced ingredients.

Your Wedding Photographs

Your Wedding Photographs will give you the memories to look back on in years to come. Tottington Manor set in the hillsides of the South Downs, the Cows, the Lambs and the 17th Century Manor House and Gardens provide the perfect backdrop to your day, from Family Photos on the lawn, to romantic couple shots in the countryside, the time between your ceremony and your wedding breakfast is the time to get those formal, must have, shots taken leaving your Wedding Photographer to take candid and relaxed pictures throughout the rest of the day.

Your Wedding Breakfast

Whilst most weddings at Tottington Manor enjoy a three course banquet created from local ingredients, our AA Rosette Chefs can tailor your wedding breakfast to suit the style of wedding you wish to have.Whether its being seated by our Master of Ceremonies in the South Downs Suite for 3 courses of great food or enjoying less formality with a BBQ or bowlfood outside, we are certain you will enjoy the food and wine. All our food is created by the same chefs who create the amazing dishes for our TERRA Restaurant, using the same local ingredients and the same precise skills to create a menu you and your guests will be talking about.
After the Wedding Breakfast our Master of Ceremonies will introduce the speeches and your evening guests will start to arrive.

The Evening Do

After cutting the Wedding Cake and your first dance its time to relax, the formal Wedding Photographs are complete and you can enjoy the evening partying until Midnight with a DJ or live Band in the South Downs Suite. You can invite more guests to the Evening Do and Party late into the night. The South Downs Suite has its own bar and gardens meaning that all your guests are together enjoying the celebrations with you. During the vening we'll put out a grazing buffet with cheese to keep you going. Once the bell strikes Midnight, its time for most of your guests to depart, leaving you and your closest family and friends who are staying at Tottington Manor to head off to bed or enjoy our guest bar until the early hours.

Sussex Wedding Venue Accommodation

We have 12 beautiful bedrooms for Wedding Guests, of course the Honeymoon Suite is reserved the happy couple and we reserve the rest of the rooms for your guests so that you have exclusivity of the hotel bedrooms on your wedding night. Each of our bedrooms is double occupancy, with some of the rooms able to take additional adult or child beds.Locally there are many airbnb properties and countryside glamping sites as well as pubs and restaurants with rooms for the rest of your guests to stay.

The Morning After | Farewell Breakfast

The morning after your Wedding Celebrations is a chance to catch up with close family and friends with all those staying in the hotel having breakfast included, you can also invite other guests to join if you wish
With plenty of hot and cold drinks, accompanied by one of our hot breakfast dishes and toast with South Downs Butter you will be ready to say farewell to your guests and head off for your honeymoon.

Where is Tottington Manor

Tottington Manor Wedding Venue is 5 miles North of Brighton in West Sussex. We are in the South Downs National Park, surrounded by fields and hillsides, but only 10 minutes from the A27 coast road and the A23 which links to London Gatwick and the M25. Click Here for a Map

Can you only accommodate 70 guests?

The South Downs Suite at Tottington Manor can accommodate up to 100 guests in the Daytime and 180 guests in the evening for Weddings, we can also accommodate weddings with fewer guests and have a special package for Intimate Weddings of 30 guests. Our TERRA Restaurant also has Private Dining Rooms which can provide a Celebration Dinner for up to 14 guests.

Can we customise our wedding at Tottington Manor?

Yes. The plans above are designed as clear starting points, but every wedding is personal. How many bedrooms are there at Tottington Manor

Tottington Manor Hotel has 12 bedrooms, 5 Superior rooms, some with jacuzzis, and 7 Comfort rooms, all rooms are double occupancy and we have some rooms that can also accommodate extra child or adult beds. Couples usually find that with Close family and friends they use all our rooms and our weddings team can advise on other places to stay locally including Wickwoods, THe Wild Hotel, AirBNB Homes locally The Castle Inn

Do your wedding prices include accommodation?

Our Exclusive package includes 2 days of accommodation for all rooms from 3pm on the day before the wedding with an extended check out of 12pm the day after the wedding. Our South Downs Package includes either of our Getting Ready Suites the night before with the Honeymoon suite on the night of the wedding and our Celebration package includes the honeymoon suite on the night of the wedding.

How many guests are your wedding prices based on?

The Exclusive, South Downs and Celebration wedding prices are based on 70 guests. The team can help tailor your final wedding quote around your guest numbers, chosen season and preferred package.

What is the difference between the Exclusive and South Downs packages?

The Exclusive package is a two-day hire option with full exclusive use of Tottington Manor, all 12 bedrooms for two nights, private AA Rosette chef and concierge, arrival reception, tasting menu, wedding day celebration and farewell brunch. The South Downs package is a full-day wedding package centred around the South Downs Suite, private garden and bar and includes a getting ready suite the night before and exclusivity of the Hotel rooms for your guests to book overnight.

Is the Celebration package available at weekends?

The Celebration package at Tottington Manor is only available Monday to Thursday. Please do talk to our team as we will almost certainly be able to tailor a wedding to suit your requirements if we are the right venue for you.

We've dined in your TERRA Restaurant, is the food the same?

Yes, its the same team of Chefs and locally sourced ingredients as our TERRA Restaurant, the dishes are plated differently to allow us to serve 70 guests at once, but the flavour and the creativity is still all there.

We like the South Downs Package, but our family would like to stay the night before and have a more personal family meal is that possible?

Yes, your family can absolutely stay in the hotel the night before, this makes getting ready for all your closest guests much easier. Our TERRA Restaurant private dining rooms are also ideal for gatherings of 8 to 24 guests the night before a wedding to celebrate together, our weddings team will be able to arrange this for you, subject to availability of course.

We have some family and friends living overseas how close is Tottington Manor to an Airport?

We are just 25 minutes drive from London Gatwick Airport and 1 hour from London Heathrow airport, also for those guests using Eurostar or travelling by train from other parts of the country, the nearest railway station is Hassocks, which is 56 minutes from London Victoria and has a permanent Taxi rank,with a journey time of 15 minutes to Tottington Manor.
