The Duplex Suite

A little more space changes the pace of a stay. Set over two floors, our Duplex Suite combines old beams and countryside character with a separate lounge, a king-size bedroom and a generous Jacuzzi bathroom.

The bedroom sits beneath exposed 17th-century beams, while the separate lounge gives you somewhere to relax away from the sleeping space. Sofa beds allow the suite to sleep up to five guests, making it equally useful for a family stay, a special occasion or a few unhurried days in the South Downs.

There is Nespresso coffee, Hoogly tea and a complimentary minibar, while the bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath, rainfall shower and integrated sound system — exactly the sort of detail that feels rather good after a day walking, celebrating or exploring Sussex.

Breakfast, dinner and the pleasure of staying put

Breakfast is included with direct hotel bookings. If your rate is room only, breakfast can be reserved separately. In the evening, TERRA Restaurant keeps dinner on the doorstep, with seasonal Sussex cooking and a wine list that gives local producers a proper place at the table.
