There is something rather lovely about breakfast in the South Downs when you have nowhere to rush to. Whether you stayed upstairs, booked a room-only rate elsewhere or simply fancy meeting somebody for breakfast, you are welcome to start the morning at Tottington Manor.
Our breakfast menu moves from a full South Downs Breakfast to lighter plates, eggs, plant-based choices and a continental option, with Hoogly tea, Nespresso coffee and Folkington Sussex juices alongside. If you are staying with us on a direct bed-and-breakfast rate, breakfast is included. Room-only guests can add it separately, and non-residents are welcome subject to availability.
Breakfast times
Monday–Friday: 7:00am–9:30am
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am–10:00am
If you are not already booked on a bed-and-breakfast stay, we recommend reserving a table in advance.
A Sussex start to the day
The full South Downs Breakfast brings together sausage, bacon, eggs, hash brown, tomato, beans, mushroom and black pudding. There is also a smaller build-your-own breakfast, a plant-based Garden Breakfast, a TERRA Continental Breakfast with Shoreham prosciutto and Sussex Brie, and eggs dishes including Benedict and Royale.
For something lighter, choose porridge with Bury Bees honey and granola, toasted bloomer and preserves, or a Sussex breakfast bap. The current menu also includes Hoogly teas, Nespresso coffees and Folkington juices. Dishes and prices evolve, so the linked PDF remains the definitive current menu.
If breakfast is part of your stay
Direct hotel bookings include breakfast, so the morning is already taken care of. If you booked through Booking.com, Hotels.com or another room-only channel, simply reserve breakfast separately. You can also compare our 12 bedrooms if you are still deciding where to stay.
The morning after a wedding
Breakfast can be one of the nicest parts of a wedding stay: the formalities are over, everybody is a little more relaxed and the people who stayed can sit down together before heading home. Explore weddings with accommodation at Tottington Manor.
