Goodwood Revival returns to West Sussex from 18–20 September 2026, bringing historic racing, vintage style and the atmosphere of motor racing's post-war golden era back to Goodwood Motor Circuit. Tottington Manor sits at the foot of the South Downs near Henfield, around a 45-minute drive from Goodwood in normal traffic, making it an appealing countryside base for the weekend.
A quieter South Downs base for a very full Goodwood weekend
Revival days are wonderfully busy. Tottington Manor gives you somewhere calmer at either end of them. We are an independent 12-bedroom hotel near Henfield, surrounded by West Sussex countryside and close to the South Downs, with free on-site parking and breakfast included with hotel stays.
The drive towards Goodwood takes you west across Sussex rather than back towards the Brighton conurbation. In ordinary traffic it is around 45 minutes from the hotel, and it is a beautiful countryside journey in its own right. Major Goodwood events inevitably create heavier traffic around Chichester and the circuit, so we recommend leaving extra time, particularly for morning arrival.
Goodwood Revival 2026: what to look forward to
The official Goodwood programme describes Revival as an immersive celebration of the 1948–1966 era, combining historic motorsport with vintage fashion, aviation and entertainment. For 2026, the event introduces a La Dolce Vita theme inspired by Italian style, romance and design.
The racing remains the heart of the weekend, with Goodwood also marking the legacies of Barry Sheene and Sir Jack Brabham in 2026. Away from the circuit action, visitors can expect historic aircraft, music, dancing and the period detail that makes Revival feel very different from a conventional race meeting.
Come back to a proper room
After a long day trackside, the hotel side of the stay matters. Tottington Manor's rooms range from Cosy and Comfort bedrooms through to larger Superior rooms and suites. Our Superior Super King rooms are particularly well suited to a Goodwood weekend, with more space, countryside views and selected rooms featuring Jacuzzi baths.
There is also the simple pleasure of waking up somewhere quiet. Breakfast is served at the hotel, so the next day can start with coffee and a proper Sussex breakfast before you head back towards the circuit.

You do not need to finish a day at Goodwood with a motorway service station dinner. TERRA Restaurant is the food and drink heart of Tottington Manor, with seasonal dishes prepared fresh and a strong focus on Sussex growers, farms, fisheries, makers and vineyards.

The same idea works in summer. Goodwood's Festival of Speed takes place around Goodwood House and brings together competition cars, road cars, motorcycles, famous drivers and the celebrated hillclimb. Goodwood has already confirmed the next Festival of Speed for 15–18 July 2027.
