On Halloween night, Tottington Manor becomes the setting for Food to Die For, an immersive murder mystery from Murders on Demand. The mystery unfolds around you rather than on a distant stage: actors move through the room, conversations become clues and everyone has the chance to work out what really happened.

The story starts in the world of a family restaurant. A brother and sister have inherited the business, the head chef has something worth celebrating — and what should have been a very good night for the restaurant is about to become considerably more complicated.

The kitchen has never been this dangerous

Murders on Demand describes the plot around siblings who have inherited their family restaurant. One now runs the business while the other is head chef, and the evening begins as a celebration of his recent culinary success. Then the congratulations stop and the investigation begins.

This is not a sequence of little scenes performed between courses. The company specialises in modern, actor-led immersive mysteries: characters circulate among the tables, guests can speak to suspects directly and the story reacts to the room as the evening develops.

Dinner is being served. Someone has a motive. And by the end of the night, somebody will need to explain themselves.
