Christmas at Tottington Manor is built around the things families tend to remember: the lights on the hillside, a warm decorated Manor, a table full of people, proper festive food and enough different events to create a tradition of your own.
Tottington Manor leans into a traditional English countryside Christmas: trees, garlands, warm interiors and extensive exterior lights. As the winter evenings draw in, the illuminated Manor can be seen as guests approach across the hillside, giving the arrival a sense of occasion before anyone reaches the front door.
From the first lights to Boxing Day
Start at the Christmas Market and lights switch-on, come back for Festive Afternoon Tea, gather outside for Candlelit Carols on 21–23 December, then choose Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day dining. Larger families can use private dining to keep everyone together without losing the atmosphere of the hotel.
Five courses, no washing up
The 2026 brochure lists Christmas Day dining from 12pm at £155 per person , with a five-course menu, festive classics and TERRA’s more contemporary Sussex-led dishes.
A room for the people you actually came to see
Festive private dining gives families their own space for lunch or dinner, useful when ages, conversation and timings do not fit neatly into a busy restaurant table. Children have a separate Little Totts festive menu available throughout the season, excluding Christmas Day.
