Christmas at Tottington Manor has grown into much more than a traditional office party night. The 2026 programme mixes immersive entertainment, relaxed social events, family favourites, AA Rosette festive dining and some wonderfully atmospheric South Downs traditions.
An alternative to the traditional Christmas party night
For teams who have done the standard three-course dinner and DJ more times than they can count, Fear the Faithful offers something very different. On Fridays in December, a professional cast draws guests into an evening of dining, strategy, suspicion and unexpected twists, followed by late-night dancing.
Festive Sax & Social takes the opposite approach: deliberately relaxed. Mulled wine, festive bowl food and a roving disco saxophonist make it well suited to work teams, groups of friends and families who want to move, talk and mingle rather than spend the entire night at a formal table.
Christmas lunch with a little magic
The Magic of Christmas Festive Lunch combines a two-course festive menu with mulled wine, close-up magic, mind reading and festive music.
It is a useful alternative for businesses that want to bring teams or clients together during the working day, particularly when not everyone wants a late-night party.
A family favourite: Festive Sing-A-Long Afternoon Tea
On Saturday 19 December, the Festive Sing-A-Long Afternoon Tea returns at 2:30pm. Freshly prepared festive afternoon tea is accompanied by a professional singer leading the room through festive and party favourites.
It is particularly lovely for a multi-generational family gathering — something to enjoy with grandparents, parents, children, relatives and friends without asking everyone to stay out late.
Six years of Candlelit Carols
Candlelit Carols returns for its sixth year. Held outside beneath the Christmas lights, the evenings blend traditional Christmas carols with favourite Christmas pop songs led by a professional singer.
It has become one of those simple traditions that feels bigger because everyone joins in: festive snacks and drinks, winter air, lights around the Manor and a crowd moving from familiar carols into the songs everyone knows from Christmas radio.
Festive dining throughout December
TERRA Restaurant is open for festive dining through most of December, alongside Festive Afternoon Tea, Christmas Day Lunch, Boxing Day dining, Twixmas, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
The AA Rosette kitchen, locally sourced Sussex ingredients and Sussex wines mean the food remains central whether the occasion is a work Christmas party, family gathering, celebration or overnight festive break.
Make a night of it
With twelve boutique bedrooms, guests attending party nights, Christmas dining and New Year's Eve can stay at the Manor rather than organise a late journey home.
Tottington Manor is in the South Downs near Brighton, Worthing, Burgess Hill and Horsham, so an overnight stay can also turn a festive event into a winter countryside break.
